Introduction to Sea Kayak Expeditioning weekends

These trips are  for people who have done an Introductory course (not necessarily with us). We go to beautiful parts of the country and paddle in waters that give use plenty of options. The trip will allow you to experience expedition kayaking.

We'll meet on the Saturday morning, load the boats, paddle for the day, camp overnight on an offshore island and return to our starting point by late afternoon on Sunday. Included in the price of €195 are instruction, kayak, paddle, spraydeck, buoyancy aid (PFD), wetsuit and cag. While these courses are self catering, we can provide tent, thermarest mat and cooker at a small extra charge.

Intermediate Sea Kayak Expeditioning weekends

These trips are run on the West Coast and are designed for those at Level 3 - 4 standard who want to learn about expeditioning on the Atlantic. The weekend costs €195.

For the Level 3 standard paddler, it will allow you to develop your paddling skills in safety on exposed coasts.

For the Level 4 paddler, you'll develop your boat handling, group awareness, decision making and trip planning skills.
