Donegal Coast Weekends

We'll be touring the Donegal Coast from our base in Ardara. The cliffs and caves of the Slieve League peninsula are our favourites. 565m cliffs reaching up from the sea, caves and tunnels up to 100m long, deserted islands, sheltered bays, the options are almost endless.

The weekend costs €195 for the instruction and the use of the kayak and equipment. If you'd like to stay in the centre in Ardara, the additional cost is €60 for 2 B&B and 2 packed lunches.

Lough Erne Weekend

We're off to Little Crom in the first weekend of October.

We'll be staying in a beautiful self-catering cottage on the shore and will be paddling both days in the nooks and crannies of the Upper Lough.

o 3rd-4th October

These trips are for people who have some paddling experience. We go to beautiful parts of the country and paddle in waters that give us plenty of options. The trip will introduce you to the fun, beauty and occasional trials of expedition kayaking. We'll meet on the Saturday morning, load the boats, paddle for the day, camp overnight on an offshore island and return to our starting point by late afternoon on Sunday. Included in the price of €195 are instruction, kayak, paddle, spraydeck, buoyancy aid (PFD), wetsuit and cag. While these courses are self catering, we can provide tent, thermarest mat and cooker at a small extra charge.

Intermediate Sea Kayak Expeditioning weekends

These trips are run on the West Coast and are designed for those at Level 3 - 4 standard who want to learn about expeditioning on the Atlantic. The weekend costs €195.

For the Level 3 standard paddler, it will allow you to develop your paddling skills in safety on exposed coasts.

For the Level 4 paddler, you'll develop your boat handling, group awareness, decision making and trip planning skills.
