From this... To this...
Well done to Justine Curgenven and Barry Shaw on crossing the Irish Sea from the Lleyn Peninsula in mid Wales to Wicklow on 2nd January. It's the first crossing I know of done at this time of the year. The cold and short day makes it a totally different prospect than one done in summer. They left a 1:30 am and arrived just before 1:30 pm. Have a read of Justine's blog here.
We'd a lovely trip to Malta in October. Air temperatures of high 20's and water temperature of 23 degrees. Ahhh... just like the Irish summer! We'll be going back next year with a group. Details soon...
West Coast Trip
We were in Roundstone on the 13th and 14th of September. While it wasn't windy, we could have done with a bit of sunshine! Nevertheless, we did get to Slyne Head, MacDara's and Mason Islands.

Successful Cape Horn trip
Dave Walsh, Paul Butcher, Fred Cooney and Des Keaney successfully got around Cape Horn on Tuesday 22nd January.

The day before: caught out and definitely not going around.
